WHAT WE DO

Musicians must make music. At the same time, being an entrepreneur requires additional insights and actions. This is where you step into the Green Room. We create powerful public profiles – for individuals, organizations and ensembles of all sizes, since 2011.

We define your most distinctive features and focus on a step by step strategy. Our work includes strategic consulting, copywriting, promotional photography, content curated websites, graphic design, and communication. Tools to take you further.

Our own strength is to combine a structured way of thinking with a creative spirit. We love to dive deep into the world of our clients, with a healthy distance and a critical eye. We like the practical side of branding and leave the theory to others. Strategy is a creative process, not a report in a drawer.

While our roots lie in the world of classical music, we increasingly extend our expertise to clients in jazz and world music.

MARC VAN DER HEIJDE

Founder and Owner

Marc’s passion for music from 1100AD to yesterday made him start Green Room Creatives in 2011. He is committed to making his expertise generate attention and enthusiasm for musicians, ensembles and music organizations in the classical domain.

Educated as a graphic designer, Marc turned to creative leadership at design agencies Barlock and Studio Dumbar. Working in the field of brand identity has taken Marc around the world, and into the most complex of assignments.

Marc is able to identify and distill the essence of a message into concise words and distinctive images. His clients and colleagues profit from his strategic thinking, his ability to listen, his experience in leading complex processes and the trust he places in them as equal partners.

Many of the projects are done in close collaboration and Marc can lead a team from a dedicated network of designers, photographers, animators, film makers, social media experts, printers and digital developers.

Marc loves being a pianist and singer when nobody is watching.
